The Global Sourcing Manager plays an integral role in all aspects of product procurement including developing robust supplier relationships and leveraging commodity expertise to source all company products. Responsibilities in this role include overall supplier management for a variety of commodities, the establishment of pricing, lead-time, and other commercial terms.The Global Sourcing Manager is charged with seeking out opportunities to make the sourcing process more efficient.Negotiate pricing and purchasing of commodities from global and domestic vendors in support of inventory replenishment and customer contract requirements.
Execute Purchase Orders to meet material delivery requirements.
Utilize this expertise in your sourcing strategy considering key cost drivers including raw material sourcing and supply chains.
Maintain and further enhance relationships with supply partners to sustain the reliability of the products supply and promote the sharing of market intelligence.
Work to develop new product sources and promote these products across industry segments and Strategic Business Units.
Research and resolve non-conformance reports (NCR) relating to supplier's product quality, packaging, service or shipments timelines.




Track changes in key commodities and currencies and proactively update the CRM system and all related data files for education of internal stakeholders.
Employ a continuous improvement mindset through regular identification, recommendation, and implementation of work processes that drive greater efficiencies and positive outcomes.
Minimum 10+ years' experience in international procurement / sourcing preferably with a mid-sized Oleochemicals distributor or manufacturing company.
Bachelor's Degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, or another related field preferred.
Proven work experience in managing work relationships with business partners across diverse international and domestic cultures.
Proven work or life experiences that demonstrate the ability to work well as a member of a team.
Excellent computer acumen in MS Office, enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, and contract management software (CRM).
Advanced interpersonal skills displaying a high level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
Proven skills in price and commercial negotiations, domestic/international shipment management and vendor relationship building.
