JAVA Software Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

Design, develop, test, and support Java-based applications while managing key aspects of the Application Development Life Cycle. The role focuses on scalable full-stack engineering, contemporary cloud and DevOps practices, and practical use of AI/GenAI in software development. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java full-stack application development.
- Strong experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience using AI/Generative AI technologies in software development and engineering workflows.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

Backend Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA,

Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based full-stack applications.
Develop scalable REST APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop responsive frontend components using Angular.
Leverage AI/GenAI capabilities to improve application functionality, developer productivity, automation, and engineering efficiency.
Evaluate and integrate AI/LLM-based solutions into applications where appropriate.
Write clean, reusable, secure, and maintainable code.
Develop unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
Troubleshoot application, performance, and production issues.
Collaborate with business, QA, architecture, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
Participate in technical design, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
Support CI/CD and application deployments across environments.
Take ownership of assigned deliverables and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
