Role Purpose: Drive business growth by acquiring customers requiring finance for machinery/equipment purchases, building relationships with equipment dealers and manufacturers, and ensuring a healthy loan portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate machine loan business through direct sales and channel partners.
- Develop relationships with machinery dealers, OEMs, manufacturers, and industrial associations.
- Identify and acquire current customers in manufacturing, engineering, plastics, packaging and allied sectors.
- Conduct preliminary credit assessment and collect loan documentation.
- Coordinate with credit, operations for loan processing and disbursement.
- Monitor portfolio quality and control delinquency levels.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual disbursement targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities within the assigned territory.
- Maintain customer relationships for repeat business.
- Sales and relationship management.
- Knowledge of machinery finance, term loans.
- Understanding of financial statements and credit appraisal.
- Dealer/OEM network management.
- Negotiation and customer acquisition skills.
Typical Requirements
- Graduate/MBA preferred.
- 10-15 years of experience in equipment finance, SME lending, commercial vehicle finance, or industrial sales financing.
