About the Role:
Crystal is redefining cold chain infrastructure through modular, plug-and-play reefer containers and cold storage systems . We're hiring a Cold Chain Technical Specialist who can go beyond support — someone who can design , deploy , and optimize cold chain systems tailored to pharma, food, and agri use cases.
You'll work across Sales, BD, and Operations to deliver solutions that are technically robust , compliant , and cost-effective — with a solid focus on refrigeration systems, IoT monitoring, and temperature-critical logistics.

Key Responsibilities : FunctionWhat You'll Drive

- Solution Design & Deployment : Lead the design and customization of reefer container and cold storage solutions for client-specific needs.
- Technical Pre-Sales Support : Support BD/sales teams with technical validation, site fitment, temperature feasibility, and compliance specs.
- Refrigeration & Monitoring Systems: Integrate and optimize cooling units (Carrier, Thermo King, Daikin), backup systems, and IoT temp tracking.
- Compliance & QA Standards : Ensure all systems meet GDP, HACCP, and thermal mapping standards for pharma/food logistics.
- Client-Facing Tech Advisor: Be the technical POC during client discussions — explain specs, solve objections, and build trust through expertise.
- Project Execution Support:



Coordinate technical handoff to ops for smooth deployment. Validate performance post-installation.
- Risk & Maintenance Planning: Design preventive maintenance strategies, alarm systems, and fail-safe backups to reduce risk and downtime.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

- 6–12 years in cold chain , reefer container systems, or industrial refrigeration
- Proven experience in designing & deploying containerized cold chain or cold room systems

~ Deep working knowledge of:

- Refrigeration components (compressors, evaporators, thermostats, sensors)
- Refrigerants (R404a, R134a, R452a)
- Container insulation (PUF panels, heat leakage mitigation)
- IoT monitoring (data loggers, remote monitoring platforms, alerts)
- Strong understanding of GDP, HACCP , and pharma/food logistics requirements
- Comfortable in client-facing discussions and collaborating with BD, sales, and ops
- Able to create and present technical documentation and solution blueprints

Ideal Candidate:
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Tech, or Cold Chain Systems
Hands-on with reefer containers , portable cold storage, and custom temp-control builds
Can speak confidently to both technical depth and operational feasibility
Has run successful cold chain projects — from design to execution and performance validation
