Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Developer based in India.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to design and develop software solutions that support complex visual effects production pipelines. In this role, you will build tools, automate workflows, and connect applications to help technical and creative teams work more efficiently. You will contribute to software architecture, make key technical decisions, and take ownership of development projects from planning through delivery. As a Senior Software Developer, you will help strengthen production workflows by delivering robust software solutions, improving engineering practices, and supporting collaboration across teams. Design, build, and maintain software that streamlines production workflows, automates repetitive tasks, and connects applications across the visual effects pipeline.

Shape software architecture: Ensure software quality: Write clean, reliable, and well-tested code while promoting coding standards, peer reviews, automated testing, and Test-Driven Development where appropriate.

Break down development projects, estimate effort, identify dependencies and risks, and communicate progress to support planning and prioritization.

Investigate software and integration issues, resolve underlying causes, and improve system reliability and performance.

Create and update technical documentation to support implementation, adoption, maintenance, and continuity across the team.





The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering expertise with architectural knowledge, independent project ownership, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and creative professionals. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems.

Strong proficiency in Python and C++, including experience developing and maintaining production software.

Solid understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

Experience with automated testing, including unit and integration testing, and familiarity with Test-Driven Development.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on reliability, performance, and usability.

Experience taking ownership of technical projects and making independent engineering decisions.

Additional Experience That Would Be Considered An Advantage Includes

Background in visual effects, animation, or another production environment.

Experience developing tools and integrations for payroll, HRIS, or financial services.

Familiarity with Clean Architecture, CQRS,



or other software architecture approaches.

Experience with cloud services supporting production pipelines.

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Asana.
