Job Description :Key Responsibilities :- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of product features and engineering solutions.- Drive technical architecture and engineering decisions to build scalable, secure, and maintainable applications.- Work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define technical solutions.- Lead development activities, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.- Build and maintain high-performance backend services, APIs, and application components.- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and overall product quality.- Mentor and guide engineers, encourage technical excellence, and support their career development.- Drive engineering standards, documentation, testing practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution of production incidents.- Take ownership of technical delivery, ensuring alignment with product goals and business priorities.Required Candidate Profile :- Strong experience in software engineering and product development.- Expertise in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python,



JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or similar.- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.- Experience designing and developing scalable applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs.- Good understanding of databases, system architecture, and distributed systems.- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated testing, and deployment practices.- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance.- Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, QA, and business teams.Preferred Skills :- Experience building and scaling customer-facing or enterprise software products.- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.- Exposure to event-driven architecture and messaging systems such as Kafka.- Understanding of application security, performance optimisation, and observability.- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments (ref:hirist.tech)
