About the job
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support day-to-day laboratory operations, prepare and process blood samples, operate diagnostic devices, and assist in clinical trials and device validation activities. The candidate will be responsible for performing routine laboratory procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, handle, and process blood samples for testing and analysis.
2. Operate diagnostic devices and perform sample testing as per established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
3. Assist in clinical trials, clinical studies, and device validation activities at hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and other clinical sites.
4. Coordinate with clinical staff and laboratory personnel for sample collection, testing, and data recording.
5. Maintain laboratory equipment, consumables, reagents, and other supplies.
6. Perform routine laboratory activities, including cleaning, equipment checks, and preparation of reagents and solutions.
7. Record test results, maintain laboratory registers, and ensure accurate documentation of experimental data.
8. Follow laboratory safety procedures, sample-handling protocols, and biomedical waste disposal guidelines.
9. Assist the R&D; team in troubleshooting device-related issues and conducting routine performance checks.
10. Support other laboratory and R&D; activities as required.

Additional details:
A. Educational Qualifications:

1. Essential: B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Medical Laboratory Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related life science discipline.
2. Diploma or certification in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) will also be considered.

1. Freshers are welcome to apply.
2. Prior experience in blood sample handling, diagnostic laboratories, or operating laboratory equipment will be an advantage.
3. Experience in clinical studies or clinical trial support is desirable.
4. Basic knowledge of laboratory practices and blood sample handling.
5. Ability to operate diagnostic devices and follow testing protocols.
6. Positive documentation, observation, and organizational skills.
7. Attention to detail and commitment to following SOPs.
8. Willingness to travel to hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and clinical sites for study-related activities.
9. Ability to work collaboratively with the R&D; and clinical teams.
10. Willingness to work in a hands-on laboratory environment.
11. Ability to manage routine laboratory activities independently after training.
12. Flexibility to travel for clinical studies, sample testing, and device evaluation.
13. Knowledge of laboratory safety and biomedical waste management practices.
