The Assistant Manager role provides technical service and application support for polymer, elastomer, rubber, thermoplastic vulcanisate, and other specialty compound solutions. Based in Delhi and reporting to the technical head, the position combines customer support, troubleshooting, product promotion, cross-functional project coordination, and business development support across India.

Provide technical service and application support to customers across the company's products and aligned businesses

Support the promotion of technical solutions and troubleshoot rubber, elastomer, thermoplastic vulcanisate, and other specialty compound applications

Handle customer complaints, conduct product performance evaluations and root-cause analyses, and support the implementation of corrective actions

Coordinate with headquarters, research and development, production, quality, and external stakeholders to support successful project execution

Work closely with customers across the automotive, footwear, industrial, and consumer durable sectors on material selection, formulation support, and processing optimisation

Support marketing and business development activities to expand sales across India

Bachelor's or master's degree in polymer technology, rubber technology, plastics technology, engineering, chemical engineering,



or a related discipline

- 3–5 years of experience in technical services or production
- In-depth knowledge of plastics, elastomers, rubber materials, and their applications
- Hands-on experience with major processing machinery, including twin-screw extruders, film lines, Banbury mixers, two-roll mills, extrusion, calendaring, foaming, injection moulding machines, and compression moulding machines, as well as related testing equipment
- Experience handling customer complaints and introducing recent products and solutions based on customer, market, and application requirements
- Knowledge of quality management systems and other quality-related tools would be an advantage

Commercial awareness and the ability to deliver measurable revenue and margin contributions through technical initiatives

Structured project management capabilities and experience applying the Plan-Do-Check-Act approach
