Verbarq is an architecture and design–build studio focused on thoughtful, execution-driven environments across residential and hospitality domains. As part of our expansion, we are developing a vertical centered on modular prefabricated steel structures designed for scalable applications such as farmhouses, hospitality units, campsites, and rapid-deployment environments.
This vertical requires architectural leadership that bridges design intent, engineering coordination, vendor engagement, and on-ground execution , ensuring seamless translation from concept to installation.

Position Overview
We are seeking an Architect with 4–5 years of experience , including exposure to steel structures or prefabricated construction systems , to take on a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) role for this vertical.
The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end coordination, communication, and execution oversight , acting as the central link between internal teams, consultants, fabricators, and site stakeholders. This role combines spatial planning, technical understanding, and operational coordination and is suited to someone comfortable taking ownership across the lifecycle of modular architectural delivery.

Key Responsibilities
SPOC & Coordination Leadership
Act as the primary point of contact for projects within the prefab steel vertical.
Coordinate between design teams, structural engineers, vendors, fabricators, and site teams.
Manage information flow, timelines, and decision tracking across stakeholders.
Ensure alignment between architectural intent, engineering constraints, and execution realities.
Spatial Planning & Design Development
Develop and refine space planning solutions within modular steel structural systems.
Translate system grids and structural logic into functional layouts.




Support architectural concept development aligned with prefabrication requirements.
Produce drawings, layouts, and presentations for internal and external coordination.
Technical Documentation
Prepare and review working drawings and coordination packages.
Ensure integration of architectural, structural, and service inputs.
Maintain clarity and accuracy in documentation used for fabrication and assembly.
Execution Oversight
Monitor prototype, fabrication, and installation stages.
Conduct site visits to review assembly quality and adherence to design intent.
Identify coordination issues early and facilitate resolution.
Track progress and provide updates to leadership.
Process & System Development
Contribute to establishing workflows, templates, and documentation standards for the vertical.
Support the creation of reusable planning modules and design guidelines.
Assist in refining coordination processes as the vertical evolves.

Skills & Competencies
Strong architectural planning and detailing fundamentals
Working knowledge of steel structures or prefabricated systems is mandatory
Excellent coordination and communication abilities
High ownership mindset and accountability
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously
Structured documentation and organizational skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp/Revit/Rhino (BIM familiarity preferred)
Comfort balancing design sensitivity with execution practicality

Education & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- 4–5 years of professional experience
- Exposure to prefab construction, steel systems, or industrialized building approaches is mandatory
- Experience coordinating consultants and site teams
- Prior SPOC or coordination-heavy project roles are an advantage
