Brand & Communications Manager Role:
We're seeking an enthusiastic and creative Brand & Communications Manager to lead our social media presence and support broader communications efforts. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career to own our social media strategy while developing skills in PR and event coordination. Social Media Management (60%): Take ownership of CollegeLab's presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms. Create engaging content, develop comprehensive strategies, and analyze performance metrics to optimize reach and engagement.
Public Relations Support (25%): Assist in implementing PR strategies, build relationships with media contacts, support press releases and media pitches,
and showcase student success stories.
Event & Webinar Coordination (15%): Support planning and organization of webinars and events, develop social media promotion strategies, and represent CollegeLab at educational fairs when needed.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in social media management (internships count)
- Strong creative writing and content creation skills
- Proficiency with major social media platforms and analytics tools
- Basic graphic design and multimedia editing skills (preferred)
- Performance evaluation based on social media growth metrics, content quality, campaign effectiveness, and contribution to brand awareness
