About the job
As an accountant at GWC PROFESSIONAL SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED, you'll help maintain accurate financial records and support timely reporting, tax compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations.
Key responsibilities:

1. Record and review routine financial transactions in Tally, ensuring entries are complete, accurate, and supported by appropriate documents.
2. Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other accounts; investigate discrepancies and follow up to resolve them.
3. Use MS-Excel to prepare and update accounting schedules, reconciliations, and clear summaries for internal review.
4. Assist with GST compliance by organizing transaction data, checking relevant records, and supporting preparation and filing requirements.
5. Support income tax compliance by compiling financial information, maintaining records, and coordinating documentation for applicable filings.
6. Help prepare periodic financial reports and schedules, checking figures carefully and meeting agreed reporting timelines.
7. Communicate clearly in spoken and written English with colleagues and relevant contacts, and use MS-Office to maintain, organize, and share records. Skill(s)
