About the job
Key responsibilities:

1. Manage vendor bills, event-related payouts, and client collections as per Indian accounting norms.
2. Prepare payment advice for bank transfers or UPI/NEFT.
3. Maintain an accurate ledger for each event/project (venue, production, artists, logistics).
4. Track actual vs. budgeted expenses.
5. Monitor petty cash usage for the field/event team.
6. Verify and settle employee reimbursements.
7. Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
8. Maintain an updated daily cash flow sheet.
9. Assist with GST input matching (GSTR-2B), GST return filing (GSTR-1, 3B), and TDS compliance (Form 26Q).
10. File TDS challans and maintain vendor TDS data.
11. Collect vendor invoices, verify GST numbers (on the GSTN portal), and coordinate for missing documents.
12. Maintain audit-ready records (bills, ledgers, vouchers).
13. Assist the CA during internal or statutory audits.
14. Use accounting software like Tally ERP 9, etc.
15. Digitally store bills, vouchers, and journal entries.
16. Submit weekly summaries of cash flow, pending payments, and event-wise profitability.
17. Generate MIS reports for the finance head. Skill(s) required
