Application Security depth with pen testing: Heritage in AppSec, SAST, DAST (5–6 years ago framing); must understand threat modeling, call graph construction, AST (Abstract Syntax Trees); pen testing skills specifically needed to handle binary/unknown open-source components that cannot be fixed but must be flagged Security + AI hybrid: Not a pure AI engineer — both contributors need security background and hands-on coding ability; must be able to work with models (awareness of what models work and don't, even without direct access to all of them) Systems programmer / mid-level engineer: Must handle multi-tier architecture (front-end, middleware, back-end); able to write high-quality prompts for enterprise (not prototype) systems; 'Builds and maintains seeded vulnerability test cases across all supported programming languages.

Maintains vulnerability classification mappings and per-language coverage tables to track detection completeness.

Handles first-line community reports of false positives and missed detections, ensuring timely triage and response.
