We are looking for a Senior DSP Design Engineer – SDR & Satellite Communications to lead the development of high-reliability communication modems for space systems. You will work at the intersection of digital signal processing, RF systems, and FPGA implementation, driving mission-critical communication subsystems from concept to flight readiness. Design and optimize PHY-layer algorithms including synchronization (carrier, timing, frame), modulation, pulse shaping, and packetization
Implement and validate DVB-S2/S2X modem chains, including APSK modulation, framing, and Adaptive Coding & Modulation (ACM)
Perform link budget analysis and optimize spectral efficiency, throughput, and link margin under real-world constraints
Design RF sampling architectures (direct RF, IF sampling, multi-Nyquist techniques) and optimize ADC/DAC performance




Develop advanced algorithms for channel impairment mitigation (CFO correction, Doppler compensation, phase noise, equalization)
Lead verification and validation efforts, including BER/FER analysis, Eb/N0 characterization, HIL testing, and OTA validation
Collaborate across teams to define ICDs, system budgets, and performance metrics, contributing to design reviews (PDR/CDR)

1) Strong experience in Digital Communication Systems & Modem Design
PHY-layer design, frame synchronization, modulation (BPSK, QPSK, APSK)
Error correction coding: Hands-on experience with DVB-S2 / DVB-S2X implementations

1. Deep knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
2. Expertise in RF Sampling & Data Conversion

Nyquist and multi-Nyquist sampling, aliasing, spectral planning
High-speed ADC/DAC systems, clocking, jitter analysis

4) Experience with FPGA-based SDR Systems
Xilinx platforms, fixed-point design, RTL/HDL workflows
Experience with transceivers like AD9361, AD9371, AFE7950

MATLAB / Python for link-level simulation and algorithm development
Experience:

- 5+ years in DSP, SDR, or modem design for communication systems
- Proven experience in satellite communications, aerospace, or defense systems
- Strong ownership across architecture, implementation, and validation

Transparent communication for technical design reviews and cross-team alignment
Execution-driven mindset with focus on performance, scalability, and reliability

Tech / MS in Communication Systems, Signal Processing, or related field
Experience with space-grade systems or flight-qualified hardware
Exposure to EMI/EMC testing and environmental validation
