Develop, implement, and maintain process safety management (PSM) systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA) for new and existing processes.
Lead and participate in process hazard analysis (PHA) studies, including HAZOP, FMEA, and What-If analyses.
Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to mitigate identified risks.
Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
Investigate process safety incidents and near-misses, and develop corrective and preventive actions.




Provide process safety training and awareness programs for employees.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure process safety is integrated into all operations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory changes related to process safety.
Prepare and submit process safety reports to management and regulatory authorities as required.

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in process safety management within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
Strong knowledge of process safety regulations and standards (e.g., Experience with process hazard analysis techniques (e.g., Qualified certification in process safety (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Process Safety Auditor).
Experience with behavior-based safety (BBS) and safety culture improvement initiatives.
