Role Overview Medicon Group is looking for a detail-oriented professional for an on-site operational role in Ambala, Haryana . This role focuses on non-clinical file management and medical record completion for government healthcare panels, primarily ECHS, ESIC, CGHS, and Ayushman Bharat .

While a clinical background (such as MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, Life Sciences, or Hospital Administration ) is welcome, the day-to-day responsibilities are non-medical/administrative. The candidate will ensure case files, clinical justifications, investigation attachments, and doctor notes meet empanelment norms to secure claim approvals without deductions.

Key Responsibilities

File Completion & Verification: Audit and assemble complete physical and digital case sheets for discharged and OPD patients under ECHS, ESI, CGHS, and other schemes.

Non-Clinical Documentation Audit: Check for all mandatory paperwork, including scheme identity/smart cards, referral authorizations, emergency certificates, admission notes, treatment charts, and investigation reports.

Medical Justification Support: Review clinical notes, diagnosis write-ups,



and discharge summaries to ensure treatment justifications align with panel package codes and guidelines before portal submission.

Discrepancy Rectification: Coordinate internally with attending doctors, nursing supervisors, pharmacy teams, and billing staff to resolve missing signatures, unapproved investigations, or documentation gaps.

Portal Alignment & Handover: Organize audit-cleared files and hand them over smoothly to the bill upload team; track query sheets and assist in compiling paperwork needed for portal objections or resubmissions.

Record Tracking: Maintain registers and status trackers for daily file movements between wards, medical records, and the claims submission desk.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Graduate in any discipline / Hospital Administration / Life Sciences / Nursing. Candidates with a medical degree ( MBBS / BAMS / BHMS ) looking for panel documentation, claims, or desk operations roles are welcome to apply.

Experience: Experience in hospital administration, TPA desks, medical record departments (MRD), or panel file processing. Direct prior experience in ECHS and ESI panel file preparation is a strong advantage.

Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with panel checklist requirements, claim justifications, tariff guidelines, and hospital paperwork formats.

Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, word processing, and Hospital Information Systems/HIS).
