We re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist 2 Production Services Application Support to join our Execution Services Production Services team in Pune.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end Application support for Execution Services platform (FX, Risk PnL)
- Monitor system health, respond to alerts, diagnose incidents and drive timely resolution to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
- Lead incident post-mortems, document root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid repeat issues
- Coordinate with cross-functional application and infrastructure teams to resolve moderate-to-complex technical problems
- Learn and participate in the development, deployment and utilization of various monitoring systems to improve issue visibility and provide proactive high-quality support.
- Contribute to special projects and team objectives, championing continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
3-5 years of experience in applications support or production workplace required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Provided support for Java/Python based applications.
- Database knowledge with strong SQL skills like Oracle, Sql Server, etc
- Hands-on experience in scripting or programming languages like Python, Perl, Shell scripting, etc
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab
- Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Prometheus, Splunk, Cloud Probes Moog or equivalent
- Experience automating deployments and other repetitive tasks. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Willing to work in shifts and weekends on a rotational basis.
