1. Provide nursing care to newborn babies admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
2. Monitor vital signs, including heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature and oxygen saturation.
3. Maintain and monitor incubators, radiant warmers and phototherapy equipment.
4. Administer medications, injections and IV fluids as prescribed by doctors.
5. Monitor premature and critically ill newborns.
6. Assist doctors during medical procedures and emergency situations.
7. Maintain proper feeding schedules, including breastfeeding, tube feeding and formula feeding as prescribed.
