- Vendor development and management (mills, distributors, service providers)
- Price negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization
- Managing procurement cycle: RFQs, PO, follow-ups, and delivery coordination
- Market analysis to manage price fluctuations
- Coordination with production, planning, and logistics teams
- Ensuring quality compliance (MTCs, ASTM/IS standards)
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience in metal procurement
- Strong network with steel mills and suppliers
- Good negotiation, analytical, and technical skills
