Role & responsibilities

1) Develop underground utility philosophy and design criteria.

2) Engineer and design:

Oily Water Sewer (OWS)

Storm Water Sewer (SWS)

Sanitary Sewer Systems (SSS)

Closed Drain Systems (CDS)

Fire Water Underground Networks

Cooling Water Underground Systems

Process Underground Pipelines

Chemical Drainage Systems

Utility Trenches and Duct Banks

3) Establish routing and elevation strategy for underground utilities.

4) Prepare underground utility master plans and layouts.

5) Ensure gravity flow requirements are maintained throughout drainage systems.

6) Coordinate tie-ins to existing facilities in brownfield projects.

7) Review hydraulic calculations and drainage studies.

8) Rainwater Harvesting related Engineering Support.

9) Green Belt related Engineering Support.

10) 3D Modeling Coordination

11) Develop and review underground systems in: AVEVA E3D, AVEVA PDMS, SmartPlant 3D (SP3D),

AutoCAD Plant 3D

12) Perform multidisciplinary model reviews.

13) Resolve clashes involving: Piping, Structures, Foundations, Roads, Cable trenches, Underground utilities

14) Ensure model compliance with project standards and client specifications.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience & Qualifications:

• 10-13 years experience in performing Underground System Engineering Activities

• Engineering Degree in Civil Discipline

• Experience with Excel Spread sheet for Hydraulic Design, UG Softwares such as Open Flows etc.

• Experience in review tools like Navisworks

• Experience in MS office

• Conversant with relevant codes and standards as mentioned above.

• Experience with detailed design project (EPC) execution with flexibility of Self-preparation of Design

deliverables and Review of UG related Engineering Deliverables prepared by other Design Engineering

Consultants.
