This role IS

- Hands-on delivery leadership of DLX implementations.

- Customer-facing discovery calls, demos and value-based recommendations.

- Leading and mentoring PAS team members in an Agile delivery model.

- Balancing technical depth with business alignment .

This role is NOT

- A functional LIMS/ELN configuration or ticket-resolution role.

- People management without technical depth you stay close to the solution.

- A pure pre-sales or demo role you stay accountable through validation.

- Order-taking you translate needs into sound technical requirements.

- A CSV-only role although you need a good understanding of CSV/CSA .

What you will do

Core responsibilities

1 Implementation Validation Delivery

- Lead the implementation and validation of Scitara DLX for global pharma and life-sciences customers.

- Own the technical architecture for instrument and system connectivity scalable, compliant and robust .

- Translate customer needs into clear technical requirements , working closely with Software Application Specialists.

- Ensure delivery meets GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, ALCOA+ and GAMP 5 expectations.

2 Customer Engagement Consulting

- Participate in customer calls drive discovery , influence solution design and give value-oriented technical recommendations .

- Deliver effective product demonstrations and communicate DLXs value proposition clearly.

- Engage stakeholders through consultative,



value-based storytelling including at executive level.

3 Team Leadership Capability

- Mentor and guide PAS team members; build a culture of excellence, innovation and continuous learning.

- Work in or lead Agile delivery teams ; align team execution with company objectives.

- Drive performance and operational efficiency across PAS engagements.

- Champion knowledge sharing, best practices and internal training within PAS.

4 Cross-Functional Alignment Assets

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Architects and Software Engineers for smooth handovers and cohesive outcomes.

- Align delivery strategies with Scitaras business objectives and product roadmap .

- Contribute to technical documentation, internal playbooks and customer-facing collateral .

- Support or lead PoV and pilot engagements.

- Prove scalability, operability and reuse not only functionality.

AI-Enabled Lab Transformation

- Translate AI agents and automation into practical RD and QC use cases.

- Show how standardized, contextualized data enables AI/ML.

Commercial Input

- Review SOWs, estimates and assumptions so commitments are technically achievable.

- Feed delivery experience back into product and methodology .

What you bring

Must have first, then good to have

Must have

- 10+ years in pharma/life-sciences lab informatics, with strong technical architecture skills designing how instruments, LIMS/ELN/LES/CDS and enterprise systems connect.

- Technical configuration of LIMS/ELN for instrument connectivity interfaces, instrument data capture, parsing and mapping, and data flows between instruments and systems.

- Enterprise integration : REST APIs, JSON/XML, file-based interfaces,



data mapping, error handling and retry.

- Customer-facing consultative experience leading discovery, translating needs into technical requirements, and influencing stakeholders through persuasive, value-based storytelling .

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences or a related field.

- Strong pharma and life-sciences domain knowledge, including QC and RD laboratory processes and regulatory expectations.

- Working knowledge of lab instruments and their software like Empower, Chromeleon, SoftMax Pro, Tecan Magellan, UNICORN/KTA, LabX (and controlled instruments such as pH meters and balances).

- Well versed in 21 CFR Part 11, ALCOA+, GAMP 5 and GxP , with a valuable understanding of CSV (validation planning, risk-based testing, traceability). This is not a CSV-only role .

- Experience working in or leading Agile teams .

- Able to balance technical depth with business alignment contributing to both strategic planning and hands-on delivery.

Good to have Technical

- Scripting in JavaScript and/or Python .

- Data platforms (databases, data lakes) and cloud infrastructure, especially AWS .

- Data standards such as ASM, AnIML and SiLA .

- Event-driven integration , monitoring tools, deployment frameworks or infrastructure automation.

- CSA (Computer Software Assurance) alongside CSV.

Good to have AI

- Practical familiarity with Generative AI / LLMs, agentic AI, prompt and context engineering, RAG and AI-assisted development.

- Evidence of self-directed AI learning courses, prototypes or automations you built yourself.

Good to have Background

- Prior role as applications scientist, lab informatics specialist, lab manager or scientist .

- Experience across multiple systems, vendors, labs or sites .

- Experience leading Proof-of-Value or pilot engagements.

Please note: functional LIMS/ELN/LES implementation or business configuration experience on its own does not meet this bar . We need technical architecture, instrument-connectivity depth and customer consulting experience.
