About the Role:
We are looking for a agile and experienced COO who will run your high-velocity Phase 0 Edible Oil bulk merchant trading engine, manage port operations, oversee the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) logistics, and supervise the rollout of the 5 Grade-A warehousing/cold chain complexes.
Key Responsibilities
Must focus heavily on capital protection rather than just chasing large trade volumes.
The right candidate will proactively explain how they will manage currency fluctuations and maintain a 100% hedge using NCDEX / MCX lot ratios.
Must demonstrate practical, hands-on knowledge of port handling, Customs House Agent (CHA) networks,
and freight networks, rather than just corporate theory.
Must have a proven track record of handling multi-thousand-ton bulk liquid shipping lines, managing port customs clearances, and negotiating large B2B supply agreements with domestic refineries.
Must have a risk-mitigation mindset with focus on capital protection rather than just chasing large trade volumes.
Candidate Profile
MBA in Supply Chain Management / International Trade from a Tier-1 institute (such as IIM, IIFT, or XLRI), or a B.Tech from an IIT paired with extensive trade experience.
15–20 years of proven leadership inside global agricultural trading conglomerates (such as Cargill, Bunge, Louis Dreyfus, Viterra, or Adani Wilmar).
