Job Summary

Insurity is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our India office and help deliver customer-focused software solutions. This role independently analyzes and documents increasingly complex business, functional, and non-functional requirements, partners with stakeholders through testing and training, and contributes to system design and configuration. This role supports business analysis for Workers Compensation solutions, translating business and regulatory needs into clear requirements and customer-focused solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis and US PC Insurance experience, communicates clearly, and can serve as a subject matter expert while mentoring other team members.

What Our Senior Business Analyst I Will Do

- Analyze and document Workers Compensation requirements, including applicable business rules, rating, forms, and testing needs, in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Independently develop, analyze, and document requirements including business, functional, and non-functional requirements for increasingly complex efforts, with minimal oversight and direction.
- Develop customer-focused documentation for software solutions, including wireframes, use cases, business rules, and related materials.
- Perform and support testing and training activities.
- Perform and coordinate work estimation.
- Support automation and quality improvements.
- Participate in system design and configuration activities.




- Act as a subject matter expert in the assigned functional area.
- Provide mentorship to team members and help strengthen business analysis practices through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current on industry trends, standards, and best practices through relevant publications, articles, blogs, and other learning resources.

Who We re Looking For

- Recommended: Four years of business analysis experience and two to three years of industry experience, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Recommended: Bachelor s degree in a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- US PC Insurance industry experience, or completion of required Insurity Academy courses within three months.
- Experience engaging with technical and business stakeholders in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
- Robust understanding of business analysis practices, including process analysis, design, and management; change management; meeting facilitation and the ability to present information clearly and articulate.
- Highly proficient analytical and critical-thinking skills, written and oral communication, time management, prioritization, organization.
