- Systems-level thinking (able to independently build and tune large-scale flow network models (FNMs) of chilled water plants and understand how they behave under different control schemes (VSD pumping/DP reset, valve staging,
chiller/tower staging, primary-secondary pumping)).
- Solid grasp of thermodynamics, heat transfer, hydraulics, and chilled water systems (flow control, balancing, operating envelopes).
- Flow-network tool experience (Flownex preferred; Flomaster, HYSYS, or equivalent).
- Working CFD knowledge (Cadence Reality DC preferred; Fluent, STAR-CCM+, or equivalent).
- P&ID;/MEP document literacy; AutoCAD/Revit.
- Hyperscale/liquid-cooling exposure a plus.
- Python/C++/MATLAB a plus.
- Co-SIM and PIPE-FLO software knowledge.
