As a Language Editor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for academic manuscripts, STM (Scientific, Technical, and Medical) journals, humanities books, and educational content. You will review and refine content for language, grammar, clarity, tone, and publisher-specific style rules while working closely with AI-assisted editing tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Language Editing & Refinement: Level-2 language editing, Correct grammar, syntax, punctuation, spelling, and vocabulary without altering the author's original meaning or intent.
- Style Guide Compliance: Adhere strictly to publisher-specific guidelines, house styles, and international manuals (e.g., APA, Chicago Manual of Style, AMA, CSE).
- Technical Editing:



Ensure consistency in terminology, formatting, figure/table callouts, references, citations, and structural organization.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Linguistics, or relevant disciplines.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of editing experience in publishing, STM journals, or content services
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Word (Track Changes, Macros) and adaptability to internal editorial management platforms.
