- Analyze Apache AGE support for identified Cypher patterns and map Neo4j capabilities to PostgreSQL + Apache AGE - MATCH patterns, path traversals, variable-length relationships, aggregations, graph creation/update operations

- Identify unsupported functionality, define query rewrite requirements, and document potential design alternatives





- Build the PostgreSQL + Apache AGE environment and migrate a sample graph dataset

- Partner with the Architecture and Data teams to design and build the recent graph schema in PostgreSQL + Apache AGE

- Select representative high-value query workloads and convert them to Apache AGE equivalents

- Execute functional validation testing and compare outputs against Neo4j results

- Evaluate performance characteristics and document implementation effort and complexity

- Consolidate discovery findings, evaluate migration readiness, and estimate migration complexity

- Identify required application changes and assess the operational support model

- Develop migration roadmap options and present findings to stakeholders for a Go/No-Go decision
