General Manager - Finance & Accounts

Location: Sulur, Coimbatore
Experience: 15-20 Years Manufacturing Industry (Mandatory)
Qualification: CA Preferred / CMA (ICWA)
Reporting To: CFO / Finance Director / Managing Director

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Manager - Finance & Accounts to lead the organization's finance function and drive financial excellence across manufacturing operations. The role is responsible for financial reporting, taxation, treasury management, audits, compliance, budgeting, cost control, and strategic financial planning while ensuring robust internal controls and business profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
- Ensure accurate preparation of Balance Sheet, P&L;, Cash Flow Statements, and MIS reports.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Taxation & Compliance

- Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, statutory filings, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure timely completion of audits and implementation of audit recommendations.
- Monitor adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and legal requirements.

Treasury & Working Capital

- Oversee cash flow management, fund planning,



and banking operations.
- Manage working capital, borrowing facilities, and banking relationships.
- Optimize liquidity and financing costs.

Manufacturing Finance

- Monitor product costing, inventory valuation, stock controls, and plant profitability.
- Analyze production costs, variances, and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure accurate accounting of fixed assets and capital expenditure.

Leadership & Process Improvement

- Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and risk management practices.
- Drive ERP optimization, automation initiatives, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth.
