- Operate CAD/CAM software to prepare and modify engineering designs and manufacturing drawings.
- Generate CNC programs for machining operations as per production requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and technical specifications.
- Support CNC machine setup, tool selection, and machining operations, as applicable.
- Verify component dimensions and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Optimize tool paths and machining parameters to improve production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues and coordinate with the production team.
- Maintain CNC programs, design files, and relevant production documentation.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and manufacturing quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ITI, Diploma, or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Tool and Die Making, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a CAD/CAM Operator in the manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as Autodesk Powershape Ultimate (For CAD) ,Autodesk Powermill (For CAM)
- Hands on Software (Powershape Delcam is preferred)
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming and machining processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensions and tolerances.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and component inspection.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in CNC milling, turning, or VMC operations.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, and tool paths.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production workplace.
