Role :

Responsible for review and issue of documents related to piping materials, MR / PR preparation for piping items, MTO for procurement, preparation of datasheets for piping specialty items, preparation of specification & standards, Vendor drawing review, review of vendor offers & technical bid analysis

Responsibilities

- Manage the Pipeline Engineering activities in accordance with Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards.
- Consequential assessment and corrective action plan
- Anticipating project problems and update client in advance
- Advance design tools
- Monitor engineering quality and fully engage to diagnose and correct action plan
- Continuous improvement in design tools, efficiencies and overall quality of deliverables
- Advance the knowledge base of the team and move engineering group to develop canter of excellence
- Update and create engineering policies and procedures as required to improve efficiencies and adjust to recent markets

Preferred candidate profile





The Candidate should be B.E./ B.Tech. / M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 12-23 years experience in Piping material, Plant & Piping Engineering in Oil & Gas, Refinery Projects and should have knowledge in the following areas :

- Working knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, International codes and standards, procedures and specifications
- Conversant with material specs of pipes, flanges, coating etc.
- Conversant with software such as Caesar, Offpipe, DNV spread sheets (OS F101, Stablelines, Fatfree), Plusone, Pipesim.
- Experience in Oil and Gas Hydrocarbon upstream facilities
- Experience in ORCAFLEX and ANSYS
- Knowledge of flexibility (Static & Dynamic) analysis of piping systems is desirable.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings like alignment sheets, survey corridor drawings, crossing drawings, approach/departure drawings etc.
