SGGG Fund Services Inc. (SGGG-FSI) is currently seeking to fill a full-time permanent position for the role of Senior Fund Accountant. The successful candidate joining SGGG-FSI’s Fund Valuations team will be energetic, enthusiastic and reliable, and will have the opportunity to learn and grow with our organization. POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Manager or Supervisor, the Senior FA is primarily responsible for producing and/or reviewing Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations for the assigned Daily, Weekly and Monthly valued funds in an accurate and timely manner. The position is also responsible for tax preparation, audit preparation, assisting with financial statement preparation, responding to client queries, and other duties as assigned. Other duties include contributing to or leading department initiatives/projects as required. As a member of SGGG-FSI’s Fund Valuation’s team, you will continually develop a working knowledge of different type of fund products such as Equity, Money Market, Alternative and Mutual Funds. Using that knowledge, you will collaborate with other members of the team and members of other departments to establish the underlying tools and processes required to ensure the success of SGGG-FSI’s fund valuation processes. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Prepare NAV calculations for the assigned funds.




· Review NAV calculations prepared by other team members.
· Prepare taxes, audit packages, and other deliverables as required.
· Respond to client queries and maintain positive client relationships.
· Collaborate with staff or external parties to establish, maintain, or improve tools and processes.
· Create and maintain process-related documentation.
· Train current team members as required.
· Contribute to or lead department initiatives/projects as required.
· Develop a professional and productive relationship with SGGG-FSI staff.
· Keep management informed of any and all issues that could have a Customer impact.
· Work to continually improve the processes associated with your assigned functions. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Technical
· Advanced Excel skills.
· Experience with MS Word and other MS Office applications. Work Experience
· 2+ years of Fund Accounting experience. Education
· Post-secondary education (MBA Finance or MCom).
· CA,CPA or CFA designation preferred but not required. Soft Skills
· Superior organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Superior attention to detail.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision to prioritize and manage work.
· Ability to work as an effective member of a team.
