Position Description

Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement end to end cloud data solutions on AWS
• Build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS native services
• Develop and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Lead data migration and modernization initiatives from on premise or legacy platforms to AWS
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance best practices are followed
• Optimize data processing performance and cloud cost efficiency
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best practices to junior team members
• Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud data platforms, or analytics solutions
• 3+ years of hands on experience with AWS data and analytics services
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling concepts
• Experience building batch and real time data pipelines
• Experience with cloud based data warehousing and data lakes
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and IAM concepts
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments

• Python or PySpark development
• Experience with Apache Spark
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with BI and visualization tools such as: Power BI Tableau
• Experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
• Exposure to Snowflake or Databricks environments is an advantage Certifications (Preferred)
• AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
