Job Title: ETL Tester

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Duration: Fulltime

Salary Range: INR 15 LPA to 18 LPA

Role Overview

- Client is seeking an ETL Tester to perform end-to-end manual testing for Data Engineering, EM Hub, and DIVA solutions, validating functionality against defined business and technical requirements.
- The role covers functional, regression, integration, and data validation testing, with a strong focus on data pipeline and data quality validation as well as document/template testing for DIVA.

What You Will Do

- Perform end-to-end manual testing for Data Engineering, EM Hub, and DIVA solutions, validating functionality against defined business and technical requirements.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and data validation testing, including comparison of expected versus actual results across environments.
- Validate data pipelines and data quality, including completeness, accuracy, transformation results, data mapping, and downstream outputs.
- Perform DIVA document/template testing, validating document processing and extracted data against source documents, and accurately documenting any discrepancies or defects.




- Document test evidence, defects, and results in the applicable testing/ALM process, retest fixes, and collaborate with developers and business teams through QA and release readiness.

Required Qualifications

- Hands-on experience in manual testing of data engineering/ETL pipelines and enterprise data solutions.
- Experience executing functional, regression, integration, and data validation testing across multiple environments.
- Experience validating data quality, including completeness, accuracy, transformation logic, data mapping, and downstream outputs.
- Experience with document/template testing and validating extracted data against source documents (e.g., DIVA or similar document processing tools).
- Experience documenting test evidence, defects, and results using a testing/ALM tool (e.g., Jira, Azure Dev Ops, HP ALM, or similar).
- Ability to retest fixes and collaborate closely with developers and business teams through QA and release cycles.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
