Position Overview

Primary Purpose

The Out Systems resource is responsible for creating the most appropriate architecture

and providing technical leadership in large complexity project(s) independently using the

Out Systems platform.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery

? Provide technical leadership in large complexity Out Systems project(s) on both

O11 and ODC independently

? Define system-level application architecture that includes:

o High-level design using Out Systems architecture canvas and patterns

o Architectural policies and principles aligned with Out Systems best

practices

o Design and programming guidelines for Out Systems development

o Implementation risks and mitigation measures

o Software development and integration strategies leveraging Out Systems

capabilities

o Software configuration controls and lifecycle management

? Maintain control over the architecture throughout the entire software

development lifecycle by continuously making critical adjustments to ensure

desired results are achieved

? Involve in requirement analysis phase to ensure the implementation feasibility

of functional specifications using Out Systems platform capabilities

? Highlight requirement gaps, disproportional construction efforts, technical

challenges, and any other issues to business analyst teams

? Develop the Technical Design Specification (TDS) independently for

Out Systems applications

? Provide technical leadership in the project through established Out Systems

design and development methodologies to ensure system meets functional and

system requirements

? Engage clients to explain the rationale of architecture's selection, Out Systems

platform capabilities, or other technical issues

? Ensure best practices, frameworks and reusable components are employed

in the project,



including Out Systems Forge components and custom accelerators

? Troubleshoot technical problems faced by the project team, including

performance optimization, integration issues, and platform-specific challenges

Organisation Development

? Coach, train and mentor Associate Architects and Out Systems developers

? Share technology knowledge with the rest of the organisation through

Community of Practice (CoPs) or other in-house forums

? Package and conduct technical courses on Out Systems development,

architecture patterns, and best practices

? Contribute to knowledge repository on experience learnt through Out Systems

project implementation

Business Development

? Be involved in pre-sales solution activities to review technical solutions and

estimated effort prepared by proposal team

? Provide technical expertise during client presentations and proof-of-concept

demonstrations

? Support Technical Pre-sales (TPS) teams with Out Systems-specific solution

design and effort estimation

Required Qualifications

Certifications (Must have ONE or more of the following)

? Out Systems Architecture Specialist (O11) - Demonstrates expertise in

designing enterprise-grade Out Systems applications on version 11

? Out Systems Architecture Specialist (ODC) - Validates skills in architecting

solutions on Out Systems Developer Cloud

? Out Systems Tech Lead (O11) - Proves capability to lead technical teams and

manage complex Out Systems projects

Experience & Technical Skills





? Typically 8-12 years' experience in technical role with responsibilities that apply

in-depth knowledge of architectural principles and design

? Minimum 4+ years hands-on experience with Out Systems platform (O11

and/or ODC)

? Experience in developing and deploying large scalable production

applications on Out Systems platform

? Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and

understanding of Out Systems cloud deployment models

? Working knowledge of Dev Ops software development tools and

methodologies, including Out Systems Life Time and CI/CD pipelines

? Broad and deep knowledge in current IT technologies and how they integrate

with Out Systems

? Proficiency in Enterprise technology specifications and standards

? Strong understanding of:

o Out Systems architecture patterns

o Web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Java Script, Reactive Web

o Mobile application development using Out Systems

o RESTful and SOAP web services, API design, and integration patterns

o Relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and Out Systems data

modeling

o Security best practices and data privacy compliance

? Additional Out Systems certifications (e.g., Professional Developer, Associate

Reactive Developer) are an advantage
