Role Description The Tele-Recruiter is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for sourcing, engaging, and converting prospective candidates for Lernern’s programs and apprenticeship opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include making outbound calls to potential learners, explaining program details and eligibility, and guiding candidates through the enrollment process. The Tele-Recruiter will maintain accurate records of interactions in the recruitment system, follow up with leads,



and coordinate with internal teams to align candidate intake with employer requirements. The role also involves screening candidates for basic fit, resolving queries, and providing clear, empathetic communication to youth from diverse backgrounds while meeting defined recruitment targets. Qualifications
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with the ability to explain programs clearly over the phone.
• Customer service and relationship-building abilities to engage and support prospective learners and their families.
• Basic data entry and CRM or recruitment software skills to record candidate information and track follow-ups.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle high call volumes and meet daily and weekly recruitment goals.
• Comfort working with underserved and first-generation learners, with a learner-centric and inclusive approach.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of additional regional languages is an advantage.
• Prior experience in tele-calling, inside sales, student recruitment, or customer support is preferred.
• Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary (12th pass); a diploma or bachelor’s degree in any discipline is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting.
