Job Description
Take ownership of small to medium-sized projects, helping to shape loosely defined work where needed and then managing delivery through to completion. Coordinate activity across engineering, product, operational, and other stakeholder groups, many of whom do not report to you. Maintain clear visibility of progress, risks, and decisions, and report concisely to senior stakeholders. The role reports to the Delivery Director and suits someone who looks for what needs to happen next without waiting to be told. This role reports to Delivery Director Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Take ownership of small to medium-sized projects from initial definition through to completion.
• Help scope and shape projects where needed, clarifying objectives, deliverables, stakeholders, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
• Establish pragmatic delivery plans, milestones, and actions suited to each project’s size and complexity.
• Coordinate activity across engineering, product, operational, and other stakeholder groups.
• Maintain clear visibility of progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
• Provide concise, regular progress reports that highlight delivery status, areas needing attention, and any decisions or support required.
• Follow up on actions and commitments,



chasing where necessary to maintain momentum.
• Identify potential blockers early and work with stakeholders to resolve or escalate them.
• Facilitate meetings and working sessions needed to move projects forward.
• Adapt delivery approach and governance to each project rather than applying a rigid methodology.
• Find pragmatic solutions when projects encounter unexpected issues or existing processes do not fully address a situation.
• Manage several pieces of work concurrently, maintaining focus and prioritisation.
• Give the Delivery Director confidence that projects are under control and that emerging problems are surfaced early. What You Need Required

Skills:
• Proven experience managing small to medium-sized technology or business change projects.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to report status clearly and succinctly to senior stakeholders.
• Robust follow-through, with the willingness to challenge, escalate, or chase actions when required.
• Good judgement on when formal project controls are needed and when a lighter-weight approach is more appropriate.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and to work across distributed teams and different functions.
• Flexibility to move between different types of projects and adjust quickly as priorities change. Desired Skills
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365. Personal Attributes

• Comfortable operating with some ambiguity and persistent in following up on commitments.
• Able to be given a problem or project, work out how to approach it, keep it moving, and provide clear visibility of where it stands. Qualification
• Relevant project management experience is the primary requirement. Formal certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
