- Junior Content Director Hype Matter | Pune, Maharashtra | Full-time | On-site Are you someone who spends more time thinking of Reel ideas than scrolling through them? Do you understand memes, internet culture, humour, trends and what makes people stop scrolling? Can you turn a random thought into a funny, relatable or unexpected video idea? We're looking for a creative Scriptwriter who wants to grow into a Junior Content Director at Hype Matter. About Hype MatterAt Hype Matter, we create entertaining, original and high-performing short-form content for brands across nightlife, clubs, cafes, real estate, events, hospitality and lifestyle. Our goal is simple: Make brands less boring and create content people actually want to watch, share and talk about. We believe great content starts with a great idea. And we're looking for someone who can come up with those ideas and eventually bring them to life. What will you actually do?This isn't a conventional content-writing job where you write a script and hand it over to someone else. You'll be involved in the complete creative process: IDEA → SCRIPT → SHOOT PLANNING → DIRECTION → EDITING → FINAL REEL Your responsibilities will include:
• Come up with fresh, entertaining and brand-relevant Instagram Reel ideas.
• Write catchy hooks, scripts, POVs, skits, dialogues, meme formats, interviews and UGC concepts.
• Research trending formats, creators, memes and internet culture.
• Turn trends into original concepts that fit different brands.
• Plan content calendars and prepare shoot-ready scripts.
• Create shoot briefs covering talent, locations, props, references and required shots.
• Attend shoots and learn to direct creators, models, actors and brand employees.
• Work with videographers to execute your creative vision.
• Brief video editors and explain the storytelling,



tone, pacing and references.
• Review edited videos and give creative feedback.
• Analyse content performance, including views, shares, saves and audience response.
• Take ownership of assigned content projects from the first idea to the final Reel. What kind of person are we looking for?We care more about your creative thinking and ability to execute ideas than fancy degrees or complicated vocabulary. You could be a great fit if:
• You naturally come up with funny, interesting or unexpected ideas.
• You understand Gen-Z humour, memes, trends and social media culture.
• You know what makes a Reel engaging and shareable.
• You enjoy writing conversations, dialogues, hooks and short-form stories.
• You can think visually and imagine how a script will look when filmed.
• You are comfortable communicating ideas and working with a team.
• You take feedback positively and are willing to experiment.
• You are proactive, curious and genuinely passionate about content. Freshers with strong creative instincts and a good portfolio are welcome to apply. How the role will growThis is a structured training-to-role opportunity. First 3 Months – Training & Learning
• Monthly stipend: ₹20,000
• Learn our creative process, client workflows, scriptwriting approach, shoot execution and editing coordination.
• Gradually take ownership of ideas, scripts and selected shoots.



After Successful Training – Junior Content Director
• Months 1–6: ₹40,000/month
• Months 7–12: ₹50,000/month Additional performance and loyalty bonuses are available subject to company terms and eligibility. Maximum potential annual CTC for the 12-month post-training period is ₹7.90 lakh, inclusive of applicable bonuses. CTC : 7.90 Lpa What you can expect to work on
• Instagram Reels and short-form videos.
• Funny, relatable and entertaining brand content.
• POVs, skits, interviews, street interactions and UGC.
• Content for clubs, cafes, real estate, events and lifestyle brands.
