Role Description The Purchase Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including identifying requirements, sourcing materials, and coordinating with suppliers for transformer laminations, toroidal cores, and related components. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and tracking purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support production schedules. The Purchase Engineer will analyze vendor quotations, negotiate pricing and terms,



and maintain supplier relationships while adhering to quality and cost targets. The role also involves maintaining accurate procurement records, collaborating with production, quality, and finance teams, and supporting continuous improvement in purchasing processes. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchasing Processes and Purchase Management.
• Candidates should possess solid skills in Purchase Planning and handling Purchase Orders.
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for cost analysis, vendor evaluation, and data-driven decisions.
• Degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or Supply Chain/Materials Management.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in transformers, power equipment, or related sectors.
• Knowledge of procurement standards, basic commercial terms, and vendor management practices.
• Proficiency in SAP or purchasing software; ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site. Experience required : Minimum 2 years
