- Supply Chain Legend of Toys | Bengaluru, India | Reports to Founders
Location:
Bengaluru, India
Experience:
5+ Years Function: Supply Chain | Production, Stores & Dispatch Compensation: No bar for the right candidate WHO WE ARE Legend of Toys (LOT) is a full-stack D2C toys company building two brands from India. LOT Cars covers RC cars and drones, each designed and manufactured with a distinct identity. LOT Build is our 3D puzzle line, designed for a different kind of play. Both brands are growing across channels, and the supply chain that supports them has to keep up. We run a real manufacturing and fulfillment operation: in-house and outsourced production, raw material stores, and a multi-node dispatch setup across our own warehouse, managed warehouses, and 3PL partners. We need someone who can own it, scale it, and make it run without friction. THE ROLE This is a senior supply chain role. You will own the supply chain for both LOT Cars and LOT Build, from raw material stores through production to final dispatch. The operation is running and the mandate is to scale it: tighter processes, better vendor performance, sharper inventory, and a team that executes with consistency. You lead a team of approximately 10 people across three departments. You report directly to the founders and have the authority to make the calls that keep the operation moving. WHAT YOU WILL OWN Production, In-house and Outsourced
• Own the full production output for both LOT Cars and LOT Build, across assembly, QC, and packing
• Manage outsourced production vendors end to end: timelines, quality, capacity planning, and accountability
• Ensure in-house production lines run at target efficiency with zero unplanned stoppages
• Coordinate between in-house and outsourced production to keep output consistent and on schedule Quality Control
• Own QC standards and enforcement across all production, whether in-house or at vendor facilities
• Set clear rejection benchmarks and track defect rates by product, vendor, and batch
• Build QC checkpoints into the process so issues surface early Stores and Raw Material
• Own the raw material store for both brands: inward, storage, and issuance to production
• Maintain inventory accuracy with zero unrecorded movements and no tolerance for discrepancies
• Ensure production is never stopped due to material unavailability. Plan and manage reorder levels proactively.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure inward timelines match production schedules Dispatch and Fulfilment
• Own dispatch operations across all nodes: own warehouse, managed warehouses, 3PL partners, and outsourced vendor locations
• Ensure orders are dispatched accurately, on time, and with the right documentation across all channels and platforms
• Manage 3PL and managed warehouse relationships, hold them to SLAs, and resolve escalations quickly
• Keep fill rates and on-time delivery metrics visible and consistently above target Planning and Forecasting
• Take inputs from the sales team on monthly and quarterly demand forecasts and translate them into production plans for both in-house and outsourced manufacturing
• Ensure raw material procurement, vendor capacity, and production schedules are aligned to the forecast before the month begins Vendor Management
• Manage all outsourced production vendors: performance reviews, SLA adherence, capacity negotiations, and escalation handling
• Build vendor accountability into the process so quality and timeline expectations are clearly owned on both sides
• Identify and onboard new vendors when needed to reduce dependency or improve capability Team and Operations
• Lead a team of approximately 10 people across production, stores, and dispatch
• Set clear expectations, build a culture of process discipline, and hold the team to high standards of execution
• Hire and develop talent as the operation scales across both brands and new fulfilment nodes
• Own the operational use of LOT's supply chain system across all departments, ensuring every movement is recorded and the data is always accurate WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Experience
• 5 or more years in supply chain, manufacturing operations, or related functions, with clear ownership of outcomes
• Has managed outsourced production vendors directly: timelines, quality accountability, and commercial conversations
• Experience with multi-node dispatch and fulfilment setups, including 3PL, managed warehouses, and own-warehouse operations
• Has worked in a D2C or e-commerce business and understands the pace and expectations that come with it
• Strong process mindset: you document, standardise, and improve, and you know how to get a team to follow a process
• Comfortable as an operational owner of an ERP or supply chain system. You run the operation from data. The Person
• On the floor, not at the desk. You are present in the warehouse, on the production line, and at vendor facilities when it matters
• High-ownership mindset. When something slips, you own it and fix it, you do not pass it to someone else
• Comfortable managing across multiple departments and switching context fast without dropping anything
• Detail-oriented and disciplined
• Works well with founders and can translate what is happening on the ground into explicit, direct updates WHY THIS ROLE LOT is scaling fast across two brands, multiple product categories, and a growing number of fulfilment channels. The supply chain is the backbone that makes all of it possible. This role will directly contribute to how well the business delivers on its brand promise, from production quality to the box that lands at a customer's door. You will have full ownership of a real operation, direct access to the founders, a team to build with, and the authority to make meaningful changes. If you want a role where your decisions show up in the numbers every single day, this is it.
