Robust experience in Workday functional testing, preferably across Workday Finance modules.
Good understanding of P2P, R2R, GL, AP, AR, Expenses and Financial Accounting business processes.
Design and execute functional, integration, end-to-end, smoke and regression testing for Workday releases.
Prepare test scenarios, test cases and test data based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.
Validate Workday integrations with upstream/downstream applications and perform end-to-end business-process testing.
Manage the complete defect lifecycle, including identification, logging, triage, retesting and closure using Jira or similar tools.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Workday business processes using tools such as Playwright/Selenium or other suitable automation frameworks.
Build and automate regression and smoke test suites for critical Workday Finance processes to reduce manual testing effort and execution time.
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines, analyse failures, maintain scripts and improve automation reliability and coverage.
Maintain requirements-to-test traceability, test evidence, execution metrics, defect reporting and release-readiness status, working closely with business, functional and development teams.
