Platform Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Platform Developer to design, develop, maintain, and improve software platforms that support business operations and user needs. This role involves building and enhancing platform functionality, developing integrations, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring systems remain reliable, secure, and scalable.
The ideal candidate has a strong programming background, experience with software development and platform architecture, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective technical solutions. They should be comfortable working independently, solving complex problems, and adapting to evolving business and technology requirements.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain platform features, applications, and system components.
- Build and improve platform functionality to support business and operational needs.
- Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and connections between internal and external systems.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs, performance issues, and technical problems.
- Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, IT teams, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
- Monitor platform performance, reliability, and security.
- Maintain and improve existing systems while supporting new development projects.




- Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve platform efficiency.
- Document technical processes, system configurations, and development updates.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, development tools, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in software development, platform engineering, or application development.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java Script, Java, C#, or PHP.
- Experience working with databases, APIs, and system integrations.
- Understanding of software development life cycles and version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, hosting environments, and deployment processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of front-end and back-end development concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
