Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Migration Engineer responsible for planning, executing and managing data migration activities across enterprise storage and infrastructure environments. The candidate should have strong experience in storage migration, SAN/NAS technologies, data replication and migration tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute data migration activities across enterprise storage platforms.

- Perform storage-to-storage and data center migration.

- Handle migration across Dell EMC, Net App, IBM and HPE storage platforms.

- Work on SAN and NAS migration, including LUN migration, file system migration and data transfer.

- Perform data replication, synchronization and validation before and after migration.

- Manage storage provisioning, LUN mapping, masking and zoning activities.

- Troubleshoot migration failures, performance issues and data integrity problems.

- Coordinate with server, database, network and application teams during migration.

- Perform pre-migration assessment, migration planning, execution and post-migration validation.

- Prepare migration plans, rollback procedures,



documentation and status reports.

- Ensure minimal downtime and business impact during migration activities.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience in enterprise storage and data migration.

- Hands-on experience with Dell EMC, Net App, IBM or HPE storage.

- Valuable understanding of SAN and NAS architecture.

- Experience with Brocade/Cisco SAN switches and zoning.

- Knowledge of storage replication technologies such as SRDF, Snap Mirror, Global Mirror and similar tools.

- Experience with VMware, Windows and Linux environments.

- Knowledge of data validation, backup and disaster recovery.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in large-scale data center migration.

- Knowledge of migration tools and automation/scripting.

- ITIL process knowledge.

- Experience handling L2/L3 production support and migration projects.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
