Job Summary

Walgreens is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to provide advanced expertise and individual-contributor leadership across solutions architecture. This role will lead complex work, shape solution direction, mentor others through influence, and partner across teams to deliver reliable, scalable, secure, and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead complex solution architecture initiatives and provide technical leadership across enterprise programs.
- Design end-to-end solutions covering cloud platforms, integrations, APIs, and enterprise applications.
- Define, enhance, and govern architecture standards, frameworks, and reusable solution patterns.
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business and enterprise objectives.
- Translate business priorities into technical strategies and scalable solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations on technical design, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Drive quality, security, privacy, reliability, automation, and operational excellence across solutions.
- Promote standardization, reuse, and continuous improvement of enterprise technology capabilities.
- Collaborate with business, product, security, data, and technology stakeholders to ensure solution alignment.
- Influence cross-functional teams and strategic decisions without direct authority.
- Mentor architects, engineers, and technical teams through coaching and technical reviews.
- Communicate architecture vision, technical direction, risks, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Present complex technical concepts effectively to both business and technical audiences.
- Drive adoption of architecture best practices, governance processes, and emerging technologies.
- Act as a trusted advisor during critical project delivery, production support, and strategic technology initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Design, Analytics,



Business, or a related discipline.
- 4 to 9 years of relevant experience in Solution Architecture or a closely related discipline.
- Experience designing end-to-end solutions and architecture frameworks.
- Knowledge of architecture standards, integration patterns, cloud services, and technology roadmaps.
- Experience leading complex initiatives and driving outcomes across multiple teams.
- Ability to influence technical and business decisions without direct authority.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture, cloud platforms, APIs, integrations, security, data, and architecture documentation.
- Experience collaborating effectively across business and technology stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s degree in a related technical or business field.
- Advanced experience designing end-to-end Contact Center solutions.
- Expertise across voice, IVR, chat, digital channels, intelligent routing, CRM, Workforce Management (WFM), performance management, and analytics platforms.
- Solid understanding of APIs, cloud technologies, data platforms, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with Genesys Cloud, Genesys Engage, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Salesforce, and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience implementing conversational AI and Generative AI solutions.
- Knowledge of virtual agents, agent-assist capabilities, and contact center automation technologies.
- Ability to lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Experience presenting technical solutions to both executive and technical audiences.
- Experience working with global teams, managed service providers, and distributed delivery models.
- Broad understanding of Contact Center, Customer Experience (CX), CRM, Cloud, AI, and Digital Engagement ecosystems.
- Experience with additional contact center and customer engagement technologies is a plus.
