Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and technically sound Senior Engineer with knowledge of agitators and process equipment. The candidate should be capable of understanding client requirements, evaluating technical specifications, coordinating with clients, interpreting engineering designs and preparing technical and commercial offers.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of agitator applications, design fundamentals and the ability to translate customer requirements into suitable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Requirement Understanding & Coordination

- Interact with clients to understand their process requirements and agitator applications.
- Gather technical inputs such as tank dimensions, capacity, fluid properties, viscosity, operating conditions and process parameters.
- Discuss technical requirements and clarify client queries.
- Coordinate with clients for technical discussions, specifications and project-related requirements.

2. Technical Offer Preparation

- Prepare detailed technical offers and proposals based on customer requirements.
- Review RFQs, technical specifications, datasheets and engineering documents.
- Identify technical deviations, exclusions and clarifications.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of technical offers.

3. Agitator Design & Technical Understanding

- Understand agitator design, configurations and applications.
- Knowledge of impeller types, shaft arrangements,



mechanical seals, gearboxes, motors and drive assemblies.
- Understand agitator selection based on process requirements and operating conditions.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GA drawings and technical datasheets.
- Coordinate with the design team for equipment sizing, design calculations and technical feasibility.

4. Internal & Project Coordination

- Coordinate with design, production, procurement and sales teams.
- Follow up on technical approvals and customer queries.
- Support order finalization and ensure smooth technical handover to execution teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and project records.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering.
- 3–6 years of experience in agitators, mixers, process equipment or related engineering industries.
- Strong understanding of agitator applications and design fundamentals.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience in preparing technical offers and proposals.
- Good client communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in agitator or industrial mixing equipment manufacturing companies.
- Exposure to technical sales, application engineering or proposal engineering.
- Ability to independently understand RFQs and interact with customers.
- Strong technical and commercial understanding.
