Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Manager for the Cardiology division at Meerut HQ. The ideal candidate should have strong pharmaceutical sales experience, sound knowledge of the cardiology market, and the ability to lead a team of Medical Representatives to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sales growth and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

- Manage, guide and motivate a team of Medical Representatives.

- Develop and execute effective territory-wise sales strategies.

- Build strong skilled relationships with cardiologists, physicians and other healthcare professionals.

- Drive prescription generation and promote the company's cardiology products.

- Ensure effective coverage of doctors, hospitals and key accounts.

- Monitor primary and secondary sales, stock availability and distributor performance.

- Conduct regular field visits and joint working with team members.

- Track team performance, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.

- Analyse competitor activities and identify new business opportunities.

- Ensure timely reporting and execution of company marketing strategies.

Candidate Requirements





- Graduate in Science or Pharmacy; MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage.

- Relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in the Cardiology segment.

- Prior experience as an Area Manager or handling an equivalent team leadership role.

- Experience in managing and developing a team of Medical Representatives.

- Strong doctor relationships and understanding of the cardiology market.

- Good communication, negotiation and leadership skills.

- Consistent track record of achieving sales targets.
