Position Description The Product Manager will be responsible for driving product direction, backlog priorities, and delivery outcomes for Life / Wealth Insurance capabilities. The role will partner closely with Business, Product, Technology and other stakeholders to translate business needs into clearly defined product capabilities and prioritized initiatives.

The Product

Manager will provide strong ownership across the product lifecycle, from discovery and prioritization through Agile execution, implementation, and continuous improvement.

Robust Life or Wealth Insurance domain knowledge is mandatory, with the ability to understand business processes, customer needs and technology dependencies and translate them into actionable product outcomes.

Major Accountabilities

- Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring initiatives, features and user stories are appropriately prioritized and refined.
- Define product priorities and roadmap in alignment with HNW business objectives and technology strategy.
- Engage Business, Technology and other stakeholders to understand needs, priorities, dependencies and expected outcomes.
- Translate business opportunities and problems into clearly articulated product requirements and measurable outcomes.
- Lead backlog refinement and prioritization in partnership with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Technology teams and Agile squads.
- Drive Agile execution and delivery, ensuring clarity of scope, acceptance criteria, priorities and expected business outcomes.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions to resolve competing priorities, requirements, and delivery dependencies.
- Maintain visibility of product progress, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.




- Identify opportunities for process improvement and use appropriate metrics to measure product and delivery effectiveness.
- Work with technology teams throughout solution design, development, testing, implementation, and post production stabilization.
- Support end to end validation to ensure delivered capabilities meet intended business requirements and outcomes.
- Provide clear product updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership.
- Promote continuous improvement and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into future product planning and delivery.

Must Have Skills
- Backlog Management &
- Refinement Strong experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs. Ability to refine requirements and maintain delivery ready backlog items.
- Stakeholder Engagement &
- Collaboration Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability. Ability to work effectively across Business and Technology teams and communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Agile Execution &
- Delivery Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices.

Experience working with cross functional Agile squads throughout the product delivery lifecycle.

- Process Improvement &

- Metrics Ability to identify opportunities to simplify and improve business/product processes.

Experience defining and using meaningful metrics to evaluate delivery and product outcomes.

Qualifications

- Graduate (B.E. / B.Tech.) from a renowned University




- 8 12 years (Min: 8 years | Max: 12 years) of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
- Experience in Life or Wealth Insurance is must
- Agile/Product Management certification such as CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, PSPO or equivalent is preferred
