About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on entry-level Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer to support the design and development of electromechanical systems.

The role is primarily focused on mechanical engineering: 3D CAD design, engineering calculations, material and component selection, prototype fabrication, assembly, and testing. The candidate will also work with electronics and embedded-system teams to integrate sensors, motors, actuators, and control hardware.

Key responsibilities

- Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
- Design mechanical parts, enclosures, pressure housings, brackets, mounts, shafts, mechanisms, and structural components.
- Perform engineering calculations related to strength of materials, stresses, deflection, fits and tolerances.
- Select suitable materials, fasteners, bearings, seals, O-rings, connectors, and manufacturing processes.
- Support design for CNC machining, 3D printing, fabrication, assembly, and maintenance.
- Carry out prototype assembly, dimensional inspection, fit checks, testing, and design improvements.
- Work with different motors, sensors, and electronic components to ensure proper mechanical integration.
- Support basic testing and troubleshooting, collect test data, and prepare engineering documentation.

Required skills

- Positive fundamentals in engineering mechanics, strength of materials, machine design, manufacturing processes, and materials science.
- 3D CAD skills; SolidWorks is preferred.
- Ability to read and prepare engineering drawings, understand dimensions, fits, tolerances,



and GD&T; fundamentals.
- Understanding of basic fluid mechanics, buoyancy, hydrostatic pressure, and sealing concepts is an advantage.
- Basic familiarity with electronics, motors, sensors, and actuators, with willingness to learn system integration.
- Practical problem-solving skills and interest in workshop activities, fabrication, assembly, and testing.

Preferred additional knowledge

- FEA or simulation using SolidWorks Simulation, ANSYS, or similar tools.
- Fluid mechanics, hydrodynamics, CFD.

Experience Required: Strictly 2 yrs of relevant experience

Eligibility

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Electrical/Electronics.
- Candidates with 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Academic projects, internships, CAD portfolios, workshop experience, and personal builds will be valued.
