Experience: 10 years of hands-on hospital practice.
- Assist surgeons during advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries.
- Prepare and check laparoscopic equipment, instruments, camera, light source, insufflator, energy devices and other OT equipment.
- Ensure proper availability, sterilization and functioning of laparoscopic instruments before surgery.
- Assist in setting up the OT and positioning equipment as per the surgical procedure.
- Handle laparoscopic instruments and equipment efficiently during surgery.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues with laparoscopic equipment during procedures.
- Maintain proper inventory of laparoscopic instruments, consumables and equipment.
- Coordinate with surgeons, OT nurses, anesthesia team and CSSD for smooth OT functioning.
- Follow strict infection-control, sterilization and patient-safety protocols.
- Support training and supervision of junior laparoscopic/OT technicians.
Skills: Ability to work under pressure, and effective communication with patients and staff.
