Job Purpose

Manage LPG truck operations, fleet maintenance, documentation, driver coordination, and statutory compliance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient transportation.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day LPG truck operations, vehicle deployment, route planning, and driver scheduling.
- Monitor vehicle availability, mileage, fuel consumption, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained in good working condition through preventive maintenance, timely servicing, and breakdown follow-up.
- Track vehicle maintenance schedules, tyre management, AMC coordination, and service follow-ups.
- Ensure timely renewal and compliance of vehicle documents, including Insurance, Pollution Certificate (PUC), Road Tax, permits, FASTag, and other statutory requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate drivers, ensuring discipline, safety, route adherence, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate fleet data, vehicle history, maintenance records, fuel reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams, vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders for uninterrupted fleet operations.




- Submit weekly & monthly MIS report to Management and perform other assignments as per business operations.
- This job is 30-40% travel within district

Key Skills & Competencies

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering

Experience: 2–5 years in LPG truck / fleet operations or relevant transport industry

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanisms, maintenance, troubleshooting, and fleet management

Functional Skills: Vehicle documentation, preventive maintenance, mileage monitoring, tyre management, and route planning

Leadership: Driver supervision, team handling, coordination, and operational planning

Language: Tamil and English; Hindi is an added advantage

Job Location: Namakkal

Candidates from Namakkal and in an around would be given more preference.

Preferred Candidate: Technically sound, organized, and capable of managing LPG truck operations, driver teams, fleet documentation, and maintenance activities efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹180,642.53 - ₹360,263.78 per year
