Role & responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day accounting, including purchase, sales, journal, bank, expense and general ledger entries.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing, trial balance preparation and review and general ledger scrutiny.
Prepare monthly MIS and plant profitability reports.
Ensure proper reconciliation of vendor, customer, intercompany, bank and other ledger balances.
Monitor outstanding advances, debit/credit balances, provisions and ageing of receivables and payables.
Ensure accurate accounting of inventory, expenses, capital expenditure and revenue.
Coordinate with auditors during Statutory and Internal Audit.
Regular communication with plant manufacturing, operations and marketing teams and the other service departments within the Organization.
Preferred candidate profile
CA Inter/MBA Finance/M.Com/B.Com with relevant qualified experience with plant/manufacturing accounting.
Working knowledge of SAP.
Solid analytical, reporting, team management and stakeholder communication skills.
