Lead Analyst, Commercial Lending Operations

A team lead accountable for the overall delivery, quality and governance of commercial lending operations support for a US-based bank, covering CRE, construction and C&I; loans. You will oversee the analyst team, act as the primary escalation point for the bank, and run the engagement day to day.

Roles and responsibilities
Lead the team across CRE, construction and C&I; workstreams: work allocation, SLAs, quality and productivity
Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for the banks operations and business stakeholders
Own KPI and KRI reporting, and run regular governance and status forums
Plan capacity, forecast volumes and manage resourcing, onboarding and performance
Oversee control adherence, audit and regulatory readiness, and resolution of complex exceptions
Drive process improvement, automation and standardization of procedures across workstreams
Manage knowledge transfer, backup arrangements and business continuity




Coach Senior Analysts and Analysts and ensure consistent working standards

Experience and qualification
8 to 12 years of experience in commercial lending operations, including at least 3 years leading a team
Solid understanding of CRE, construction and C&I; loan servicing and controls, with familiarity with LaserPro, Built and Capital Stream
Proven experience managing stakeholders and delivery for US or global banks
Degree in finance, commerce or a related field; MBA, CA, CFA or equivalent preferred
Solid judgment, communication and people leadership skills
